Brief description:
This trip gives you the best Sapa in the unique way which other tourists does no do. The traditional treks start in Sapa and finish back in Sapa. This special trek starts in Ben Den and finishes in Sapa. The trek is tougher but not less enjoyable since you trek through the hills and valleys of the Sapa region, discovering several different minorities along the way. You will experience overnight accommodation in the hospitable villages of Dzay, Tay and Dzao ethnic minorities. The apparent hardships are worth it though as we walk through some of the most spectacular scenery that Vietnam has to ffer and experience unique villages.

Detail itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
08:00 Pick up at the lobby of the hotel in Hanoi transfer to Hanoi Railways Station for the night train to Lao Cai
Day 2: Ben Den – Ta Thang – Nam Ket (15 km trekking, 6 hour trekking)
Arrive in Lao cai around 5:30 a.m, you are welcomed by your guide an driver and then enjoy your breakfast at the local restaurant. After that we get on a car for transferring to Ben Den where the porter team will be waiting for you where we begin to trek about 6 hours passing through bamboo forest and green jungle along some of the most remote trekking area of the North. We stop for lunch in the village of Nam Ket. After lunch we will head towards our camp near the Red Dzao Village of Nam Ket. We may meet the Red Dzao ethnic minorities tending the fields or working in the forest on our way. There will be time to enjoy the beautiful scenic valley as we pass through. Diner and overnight at the local house.

Day 3: Nam Ket village – Sin Chai B Village – Thanh Phu Village – Ban Ho Village (15km trekking, 7 hour trekking)
      
We will enjoy breakfast in the camp before preparing for today,s trek. Today,s adventure will take us through a number of small ethnic minority villages (including Red Dao, Xapho and Black Hmong). We will see people from the local communities carrying our their daily activities as it is in the northern highlands. Our trek will take us to our home stay for tonight in the Tay village of Ban Ho.

Day 4: Ban Ho Village – Su Pan Village – Giang Ta Chai Village – Ta Van Village (13 km trekking, 6 hour trekking)
Following breakfast we will leave Ban Ho behind us and start to ascend to Su Pan and Giang Ta Chai. From here we will trek the small trails towards our next stop at the Giang Ta Chai waterfall for our pinic lunch. After that we will begin our trek towards Ta Van Village where we spend the night with a Dzay Family.


Day 5: Ta Van – Lao Chai Village- Y Linh Ho Village – Cat Cat Village – Sapa (14km trekking, 6 hours trekking)
Today is our final day of our journey through the Hoang Lien Valley. We embark on our six hour trek from Tavan, heading first through rice fields to Lao Chai and then on to Y Linh Ho. We will stop for a pinic lunch by the river. After lunch we will continue on small trails to the Black Hmong village of Cat Cat, from here we will make the final push up to Sapa. Overnight in hotel in Sapa Town.


Day 6: Sapa – Lao Cai – night train to Hanoi.
Breakfast at the hotel, today you are free at leisure. You can climb to Ham Rong Moutain or stroll around Sapa Market or Town. In the late afternoon, you are transferred to Lao Cai for your night train to Hanoi. Finish our tour.
