Day: 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
08:00 Pick up at the lobby of the hotel in Hanoi transfer to Hanoi Railways Station for the night train to Lao Cai
Day 2: Sapa – Tram Ton Pass – 2,800 m (5hour trekking, 14km trekking)
Up on arrival in Lao Cai Railway station early in the morning you will by a local guide who will escort you to Sapa Town. Having breakfast at the hotel and then you travel by car toward Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam. From there you can see Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains as well as enjoying stunning views. The trek will be relatively soft until lunch time. After a couple of hours of hiking, you will have a break at a nice spot in the forest and enjoy a picnic lunch. With a new energy you start ascending towards the campsite. En route you have many opportunities to enjoy the scenery and magnificent views to Sapa area and beautiful landscape of Lai Chai Province. You will arrive to the campsite at 2800m in the late afternoon. Now it is the time to relax and enjoy a well prepared dinner.
Day 3: From 2800m- Fansipan Peak (3,143m) – 2,200m (7hour trekking, 19 km trekking)
After having breakfast, you climb to the top where you can celebrate your victory. From there, you can enjoy the best view to beautiful sceneries. You will then start descending. You stop on the way at a nice spot for lunch. After lunch, you start the tough trek, which is all the way downhill through rainforest. This part requires a great concentration to step on steep trail until you meet the campsite at 2,100 m. Here you spend another night in tent.
Day 4: From 2200m – Sin Chai Village – Sapa (4-5 hour trekking, 12 km trekking)
You wake up in the fresh and pure morning in wild nature, before heading back to civilization. You trek downhill through well-protected forest and after two hours of hiking, you stop for lunch. You will then continue descending toward Sin Chai of Black Hmong minority. On the way you will be able to enjoy valley views and beautiful surrounding. You stop at the village for a while before being driven back to Sapa by car where you can have shower and dinner before being transferred to Lao Cai for your night train to Hanoi
